RtCW - Temp

Маленькая, я бы даже сказал, малипусенькая одноуровневая карта. Исходя из смысла названия, хорошо знакомомого каждому в меру ИКТ-компетентому идивидууму, Temp - Временный. Это что, карта, в которую временно поместили идеи автора? Но с настоящей картой как-то не заладилось, Temp почистить забыли, и вот нате вам:

1. Перестрелять вражеских солдат, что наверху;
2. Спуститься в подвал и загасить всю нежить с Чуваком-из-говна во главе, прыгнуть вниз.

Впрочем, автор именно это и имел в виду, когда называл карту - см. ридмик.

Инструкция по запуску карты:

1) Поместить Temp.pk3 в директорию Return to Castle Wolfenstein/main/;
2) Запустить Return to Castle Wolfenstein Single Player;
3) В консоли написать "/spmap temp" без кавычек.
4) Нажать Enter

* Installation Information and how to play *

- Unzip to your C:\Program Files\Return to Castle Wolfenstein\Main folder.
- Play the game and call console with (~) key and type /spmap temp.

* Description *

This is a preview of my self made map for the game "return to castle wolfenstein".

Since the game is almost ten years old already and because my mapping skills are far from perfect, the graphics aren't very good. There is no story and the name of the map temp(orary) implies that this map actually was only supposed to be a temporary map, with a sole purpose of learning.

The map however just kept growing, way beyond a simple test map. Creating the map and especially the
scripts were a real challenge. Building the map with gtkradiant wasn't so difficult, however the mapscripts
(elevator, ...) and the ai behavior took quite a lot of time, especially since the information about this was very scarce.

It took me quite some time to complete, but I had quite a lot of fun creating it. I'll probably upload the map
in the nearby future, even thought I doubt that there are (m)any fans of the singleplayer of rtcw around these days.

Return to Castle Wolfenstein is an excellent game idealized by Gray Matter Studios INC, using the engine of the game Quake III's ID Software.

Unhappily few mappers were interested in doing Mods or maps (Single Player), to give continuity the saga of the hero B.J. Blazkowicz.
