Off-topic.
At E3 2001 there were these girls. It's funny, but it was a model of Playboy. Pretty creative approach to the presentation of the RTCW.

Very interesting pictures, Wolf. The presentation of the game with the sexy women is an interesting way to advertise the game, for sure. :D

It's a shame that the oldest version of the game that we can get is Rtcw 1.0. It would be awesome if a full alpha version was available, like the 0.5.13 version shown on that one picture.

Pre-release videos.
The first video was never seen before and eventually uploaded to the channel, while the second one is more complete. The rest are collected from other channels.

Very interesting videos, Wolf. Rtcw was almost an entirely different game, when you compare the differences between the alpha version and the retail version.

Thanks Ron Boy.

Still I want to say that the videos that I posted on YouTube are worse than the original ones, which are in the archive. It seems that the YouTube is compressing the already bad video quality.
I recommend downloading the archive and watching through the media player classic.

You have more concept art in original resolution? I used some of these for the logo of my mod, included a very rare pic of ubersoldat that you've posted up. Unfortunately lot of beta stuff is lost.

Yes, this is very unfortunate. So much was changed from the alpha version to the retail version, that it's almost an entirely different game when you compare the 2 versions!

Nice pictures as always, Wolf. Where do you find all of this content, as a curiosity?

I also found the beta model of venom gun. The difference is in the third person model that was "complex" as the model in first person (still without ammo loader). Now I looking for remaining weapons..
The old Mauser looks too much ugly today, the original animation of mp40 isn't bad but the orientation of the weapon is different, better in v1.0. Then there are really few material from E3 2001 that is good.

Once again, nice articles, Wolf. I wonder how many more of these magazine articles you'll find?
