Thanks for massive support Ron Boy! This was a little update.

Vicpas, about Beta Rtcw, I completed the check of both RTCW PC releases. I found only loper skin and tesla gun textures. The only other models from Beta is mp40 model in WolfMP, that we all know I think, but is so ugly and old. So, I used loper skin beta for loper mapobjects ( visible in xlabs, boss2), just for decoration and simple effects on. The other unused textures are the glowing elettric light on armor of SuperSoldier and body of Protosoldiers (restored last year), emblematic also that dynamite texture on WolfMP are in 1024x1024 (very detailed) and in SP in 512x512!! Also reflections on Venom soldiers and weapons was in plain on Beta RTCW, all that stuff and old notes available in shader scripts, a mixture of effects from Quake3 and first RTCW development tests, never cleaned.

The beta loper appears to have only a few differences from the regular loper. But the beta venom soldier looks badass, in my opinion. It actually reminds me of the Veil Trooper from Wolfenstein 2009: http://vignette3.wikia.nocookie.net/wolfenstein/images/6/68/VeilHeavyTrooper.png/revision/latest?cb=20111031145042

It would be great to have this skin, at least as an alternative skin for venom soldiers. Maybe a talented texture artist could recreate it? :)

It exist: http://www.playground.ru/files/return_t ... lti-80857/ looks as "Kingpin" style, also for low definition, far from textures that defined the atmosphere of Rtcw, to me.

I want share with all what I want to do in next two months for the 2 years of my mod. I getted new details to almost all skins, added new effects and I starting to retexturing the worst things of the game, as weapon textures, fg42 needs a good replacement, this is not definitive! Unfortunately there are limitations about the incorrect placement on 3d model. As always I will happy to know if someone want suggest something about retexturing, for a more accurate work and increase final quality.

Ron Boy, maybe you looking for it for your new mod? I really doubt about someone will remakes stuff from Beta RTCW, I for example, I use now vanilla Venom soldier textures, I think the best textures of all game, and enhanced the leather effect on uniforms, added reflective light on mask glasses, etc. lot of mini and big details.
Now I replaced fg42, I remade completely some parts of that, I'll fix some other weapon textures, like mauser and thompson. I planned to replace lot of default textures this time, is visible my new floor (dam generator).

Maybe I could make good use of it for Wewelsburg Castle, and it would also be great to have for personal use. Would it be possible for you to reskin the custom texture that you posted above by adding the helmet (and maybe enhancing the texture some)? The beta venom soldier doesn't look as badass with the helmet off.

The FG42 looks great, and your plan to reskin the other weapons sounds great too. You have my support, as always. :+:

Sorry, I'm not a modeler, the 3d model of helmet and mask is different from vanilla. For now, when possible, I continue hd replacement.

Some new textures for swf level, and new HD pipes. I'm planning to redraw texture of U-Boot VIIB that contains the bridge made of wood (????), some textures in 2016 just looks terrible!

It's part of next update, I'm replacing old venom3 textures, too much dark and dirty, also more heavy about space required.
I can said, since this time, I do this:
- deleted heavy old texture of old hd packs and replaced.
- replaced new decals.
- better corona texture.
- all glasses of npcs are enviromapped.
- corrected color of many textures for the cvar r_intensity 1.8.
- corrected weapon textures of fg42, mauser.
- almost 20 mb less than previous version.
